For the next few years, planes, trains, and automobiles will continue to rely on refined petroleum products. However, the demand for zero- or low-emission energy is growing as support for combatting the effects of climate change continues to increase around the globe. There are many changes that are currently in play to reduce the share, absolute volume, and investment allure of traditional energy sources. With everything from the way people commute to the impact of climate change to the variety of vehicle fuel options, the service station is at the cusp of a major change.
