Universum Most Attractive Employers in the India, US, and the World

Deloitte ranked as one of the “Most Attractive Employers” in the US, India, and the World, according to Universum, a global employer branding firm. The rankings reveal how attractive an employer is among students and indicates a company’s position in relation to other ideal employers in the recruitment market.

• India ranking: Deloitte moved up 2 ranks to being #3 “Most Attractive Employer” in India among Business/Commerce undergraduate students. The India rankings included insights from over 20,000+ students across 175 universities.

• US ranking: Deloitte was ranked #13 overall by undergraduate business students in the US, placing us ahead of our direct competitors again in 2021. More than 50,000 undergraduates from 300+ US universities completed this year’s survey.
• World ranking: In a survey of over 221,000 students in the world’s largest economies, Deloitte has been selected as the #4 Most Attractive Employer in the World by business students. Deloitte is the top professional services organization in all three student categories (business, engineering, and IT), and rose one spot to fourth place overall with business students.

2022 India Workplace Equality Index

Deloitte in India has been recognized as the India Workplace Equality Index (IWEI) 2022 Top Employer for our outstanding commitment in driving change for LGBTQIA+ people in the workplace.
Deloitte in India bagged Gold for embedding inclusive practices and creating a safe environment that enables members of the LGBTQIA+ community to bring their authentic selves to work.

2021 India Workplace Equality Index

Deloitte in India has been recognized as one of the most inclusive companies for the LGBT+ community in the India Workplace Equality Index (IWEI)—India’s only LGBT+ inclusion benchmarking index. Deloitte was among only 26 companies selected for the Gold category – the highest awarded by the index. The Gold Award category is assigned to employers who have successfully embedded LGBT+ inclusion in their policies, hiring practices, external communication, demonstrating a long-term and in-depth commitment towards LGBT+ inclusion. This highlights the focused efforts by Deloitte in India in the LGBT+ space in the last several years.

2021 Working Mother & Avtar Most Inclusive Companies Index

In a first this year, Deloitte in India was among the Top 10 in the Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI) in India, earning a Gold category win in our first-ever submission. MICI evaluated our diversity representation across a variety of identity factors, practices for fostering diversity and inclusion in recruitment, retention, and advancement of people from diverse groups, along with the culture of inclusion.

2021 Working Mother & Avtar—Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India

Deloitte in India has been named one of the Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) for the fifth time, earning a place in their Top 10 Hall of Fame. BCWI evaluates data on practices, programs, and policies to assess gender inclusion in the workplace. It is especially momentous to have maintained leadership on corporate India’s most comprehensive gender analytics study among more than 300 companies spanning major industries and geographies during the pandemic.

Disability Equality Index’s “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion"

Deloitte was once again recognized by the Disability Equality Index (DEI) on its 2022 list of “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion”. Deloitte received a 100% score on the index for taking measurable, tangible actions that help achieve disability inclusion and equality.
